Ethlyn George was a single mother who brought her family over from St. Croix in the Virgin Islands. She was doing the best she could raising her five beautiful children in a very small home. One day her boys were rough housing, as boys often do, and they accidentally put a hole in their bedroom wall.
It was that divine incident that possibly saved their lives because what they discovered was shocking…their house had serious termite damage. The more they pulled back the drywall the more termite damage they saw. They quickly discovered that their entire house had almost been completely devoured by termites. It was so bad their roof was about to collapse on them at any moment!
With no money to make desperately needed repairs and nowhere to go, Ethlyn had almost given up hope until the day she met Northeast Florida Builders Care. With the help of remodeler Brian D'Amico, Builders Care and their volunteers were able to make sure Ethyln's home will never be the same!
